Congratulations to Juanita & Arnett Moore!

Congratulations to Actress Juanita Moore was honored posthumously with the 2,793rd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on October 18, 2024.

Moore’s performance in the remake of Imitation of Life (1959) as housekeeper Annie Johnson, won her a nomination for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Congratulations are also due to AAGSNC Member Arnett Moore, nephew of Juanita Moore, who has worked tirelessly for years to see his aunt recognized for her extraordinary career. Thank you, Arnett. You can view the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremonies below.

Congratulations to the Moore family and friends. I remeber watching her in Imitation of Life whwn I was a young girl and thinking we would not dare talk to our parents like that. Excellant job in HONORNG Jaunita Moore..
