If you are a new member, or even if you are a long-time member, we are always looking for assistance with the following:

• Publicity – Ensures that the Society and its activities receive suitable publicity.

• Programs – Develops an annual program and administers its execution throughout the year.

• Website and Technology – Maintains the Society’s website, manages social media accounts and establishes procedures for their use.

• Journal – Publishes a periodic journal chronicling the activities of the Society and its members.

• Outreach and Education – Responds to requests for and provides assistance to other organizations requesting assistance or presentations of techniques of African ancestry family history research.

• Membership – Solicits, records, and maintains the membership records of the Society. Collects and records the membership fees for all categories of members.
